Newborn Pictures

Last Tuesday was a very special day...
Addison had her newborn pictures made. We had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Elizabeth Harris.
We loved her! She was so patient and loving with our sweet girl. We had such a wonderful time!

Has It Been A Week Already?!

We have had lots of visitors this week. Here are two very special people that came to see our sweet Addison.

Maw Maw... this makes great-grandchild #10.


Maw Maw Betty...raised me like a grandchild. :)


It's hard to believe that my sweet girl is already a week old! I just sit and stare at her all day long.



She has daddy right where she wants him.




First time in her swing. She was not that impressed. :)



 

We Are So In Love.....

On May 12, 2011 our lives were changed forever by this beautiful little angel. Addison Brooke Wesley graced us with her presence at 2:18 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. I would love to tell you how it felt seeing her for the first time, but words just can not describe the pure joy and love. We think she is absolutely perfect.

 We checked into the hospital at 5:00 a.m.

Began pitocin at 6:00..... ouch!
Epidural by 8:00.... Love that drug!!!!!!!!! It was smooth sailing after that.

I progressed from a 5 to a 10 in one hour. After pushing for about an hour... our baby miracle arrived. :)

ONE more day....

Well as most of you already know, our little angel will be arriving some time tomorrow! :) Jared and I will be checking in at St.Vincent's Hospital at the bright and early time
of 5:00 a.m. I can't believe we are only a day away from  holding our sweet baby. Jared and I have waited for this day for such a long time and now it is finally here!


My "First" Mother's Day....  My sweet hubby surprised me Sunday morning with a necklace with Addison's birthstone in it. Even though I was not technically a mother "yet", he said he felt like I had earned the title already. :)  Can I please take a moment to tell you how much I love this man. :) I pray Addison finds someone as wonderful as her daddy.


And here are the finishing touches on baby girl's room. 
All we need now is our sweet Addison.
